Catherine Mc Govern is a tax partner with PKF O’Connor Leddy & Holmes Limited, Accountants & business advisers. She joined the firm in 2000 and became a partner in 2007.
Catherine leads the Private Client and VAT Department. She provides tax advice to a diverse range of clients including owner-managed businesses, multinational companies, Property Owners and Executors of Estates.
Catherine has significant experience in working with clients in a variety of sectors including Property, Professional Services, Retail and Agriculture.

Catherine also has extensive experience of providing tax advisory and compliance services for Estate cases and forensic accounting for martial breakdown cases.
She devises solutions and provides her clients with comprehensive tax enabling them to realise the full tax implications of the transaction. Catherine has delivered seminars on various tax areas to include Structuring your Business tax efficiently, Retirement & Succession Planning and VAT on business and property transactions. She worked closely with the SFA on their Business strategy document “A Supportive Tax Environment for Small Firms”.
Catherine has advised both domestic and international clients, particularly in relation to VAT and global mobility and works closely with the foreign tax advisors to deliver the tax advice.
Catherine is a Chartered Tax Adviser and a Chartered Accountant. She graduated from Dublin City University with a B.A in Accounting and Finance.
