David is a partner in our audit & assurance team.
David provides audit and accounting services to a broad range of clients, particularly to large corporates and the SME sector. He has spent his career developing significant experience in the technology sector and has worked with some of the most recognisable and renowned, publicly and privately held, global technology businesses.
In addition, David is part of our Business Services team that supports domestic and international clients with their accounting requirements with a specific focus on supporting FDI from the US and the EU.
Skills & Experience
Internationally focused with significant experience in US GAAP and US GAAS, David’s clients include a number of large multinational groups which he manages in conjunction with our PKF offices across the world.
David has extensive experience in the preparation of financial statements under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). He also serves as a PKF International Co-Ordinator, a group specifically established to ensure our local and international clients receive the best advice and support by drawing upon the strength and expertise of our PKF member firms across 150 countries.
David holds an Accounting and Finance degree from the University of Ulster. He is a fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI) and the Irish Taxation Institute (ITI).
He has also served as a lecturer and examiner for a number of Ireland’s leading accountancy bodies and is currently the Chair of the Consortium Group that has overseen the introduction of the Accounting Technician Apprenticeship which, in partnership with local government, has created substantial employment opportunities throughout the Accountancy profession in the Republic of Ireland.
